Nkataso exists to equip children and young people, especially those from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds with the skills, mindset, and support they need to believe in themselves, unlock their potential, and lead change in their communities. We build confidence, nurture dreams, and open doors to brighter futures through mentorship, education, and personal development programmes.

When a young person believes in themselves, they learn better, dream bigger, and achieve more. But too many youths never get that chance. Nkataso bridges that gap, through transformative workshops, mentoring, and community initiatives that help young people rise above fear, self-doubt, and limitation.

Nkataso Initiatives was born from a legacy of love, learning, and empowerment. Growing up under the care of my grandmother — a devoted educationalist whose passion for teaching transformed countless lives — I witnessed firsthand the power of education to open doors and every child was reminded of their potential. Inspired by her impact, I founded Nkataso Initiatives in 2024 to continue her legacy and honour the values she lived by: compassion, dedication, and belief in the promise of young people. A small team of four passionate volunteers has grown into a movement of purpose. Since our beginning, we have successfully completed career readiness courses, confidence-building programs, and work experience initiatives that equip young people with the skills, mindset, and courage to pursue their dreams.
